Leaks everywhere

This portable air conditioner is kind of quiet. The compressor only comes with a low noise so you can sleep well with this products while the unit ensure the cooling of your room. Another thing to like is the LCD display and digital control, easy to use even without remote control. It can also cooling big room because it operates on 12000 BTU. By the time I wrote this review, the product is on big sale in Amazon. 64% cut makes this 12000 BTU portable air conditioner very cheap. Yet, you need to consider the cons first, before you decide to buy this unit.

What not to like

Almost half of the users complained that this portable AC had leaked everywhere. It seems that the product failed to comply the claim DeLonghi has made. No drip technology in whom DeLonghi was claimed, seemed just a marketing gimmick. For those that did not experience water leaking, it’s because they didn’t use this portable AC regularly. When you use this portable unit for daily use, you may experiece the leaking like everyone else.

Conclusion

Though it is cheap, I do not recommend this product to anyone. Because this product will make you busy to clean the floor. If you still insist to buy this air conditioning unit, better to put it away from carpet, wood floor and other things that you don’t want to get wet and be prepared to wipe the floor often =-)

Anyway, I would like to recommend other DeLonghi portable air conditioning unit than this one
